Owned for many generations

The vineyard Schmidt is family owned for many generations. The old village lies in a valley, which releases the views of Lake Constance and the Swiss mountains in the south.

At this exposed position the new winery has been built. It serves the wine production, the fruit harvest as well as the gastronomy. The project uses the height difference of the property, in order to develop the wine cellar at the ground level. On a higher level one can find the garden and the terrace with the win bar with a view towards Lake Constance. Two stairways lead to the wine tasting room in the attic. This room offers a sophisticated ambience for special events, supported by an open fire and a custom-made chandelier.
